As I wait the day out for tonight to come, when EBB announces the DT winners, I figured I'd post some projects I worked on this weekend. We "egg-sperimented" with our egg coloring this year, by mixing up the colors on the eggs. Yes, I came up with the whole "egg-speriment" thing. The girls didn't seem to find it as amusing as I did. No sense of humor! lol. It makes a heck of a title for a page, though.
The other one says, "Nothing is worth more than this day." The girls just looked so beautiful dressed up in their black & white polka dots. Lizzy insisted that they had to match each other. Normally, she'd yell at me for making them match. This year we searched high and low for matching dresses in the right sizes. It was worth the searching, because they both were beautiful.

EBB Bingo
What is EBB Bingo? A lot of fun, is what it is. Every last Wednesday of the month, we meet in the chat room for fun, chit-chat, and prizes! Btw, EBB is very generous with their prizes! The games start at 9:00 est and usually last about an hour and a half. There are three games. There's a link on the EBB site where you go to create your own bingo cards. You can use one for all three games or make three different cards. This bingo is with sb related words. Anywhere from brand names to titles, tools, etc. Sometimes making the cards are just as fun as playing the games. You have to be sure to print your cards or write down your words on a bingo grid of some sort, before you submit it for the game. During the game, Scott, on of the EBB owners, "calls" out the words. When you get bingo, simply type BINGO. The card's verified and you get your prize, usually within a few days following. It's a great way to hang out with friends, have some fun, and maybe walk away with some freebies.
Btw, I've won twice! Woohoo!

Flat ScrapbookingPrincess
If you're familiar with the Flat Stanley book & project, then you'll know what a Flat Scrapper is. A Flat Scrapper is a Flat Stanely. She will travel the country for two weeks at each stop and enjoy many scrapping and nsbr adventures. Flatt Princess will leave tomorrow. She's headed for Missouri to see Julie. I bet Flat Princess will learn everything she needs to know about scrapping with acrylic! lol. I will continue to post Flat Princess' adventures here, on my main blog. By the time she's done, we should have tons of pictures to show!
I already have a visitor. Flat Mylee's from Oregon and she arrived today. We don't have a whole ton of plans for the next couple weeks, so I hope she won't get bored. We'll definitely find some fun things for her, I'm sure. Hope she doesn't steal any Girl Scout Cookies!
Home is where you hang your hat!
Even in the virtual world. People who aren't very familiar with the net, just don't get it. But, there are those of us who have made, I guess, a second home on the world wide web. Or, if you have too much time on your hands, like myself, more than one! Let's talk about message boards! Most of you who read my blog (if anybody does lol), belongs to a message board. I know this, cuz it's you guys I stole the blog ideas from! We go on-line, log into our "homes", just like walking into our houses and hanging up our coats. We pull out our keyboard and socialize with our friends, family, and neighbors. Yes, I do think of my mb friends as family. Especially those that I know more than others. I'm active in several mb's. I have www.ebbcreations.com, www.creatingkeepsakes.com, now, www.allmomentsremembered.com and http://groups.msn.com/SunroomLibrary/yourwebpage2.msnw. I'm the least active in the sunroom. Probably because most of my time, lately is spent at EBB & AMR. So, my question is, what is it about these places, that keeps bringing us back? How can we care, so much, about these people that we've never even met? Why does it make us feel so good when complete "strangers" reply to our posts or comment on our layouts? Why is it that when we're out in public, like maybe shopping for SB supplies, and our fellow mb'rs are the first things on our minds? It's like we're all being brain washed or something? Like when your 4 year old watches High School Musical day in and day out and lives the movie in her own little head. But, unlike a movie on tv, our mb homes are real. Our mb'rs are real. They are our friends, family, inspiration and support. We can talk to them, get opinions, and, most of the time, not worry about being offended. They don't care what we look like, what color are hair is, or how we dress. All they care about is that we're there for each other in our own world wide home.
What are your favorite things about your mb's? Is it anything that I mentioned above. Is it stalking the mailman for your latest sb purchased which your mb friends talked you into getting (without twisting your arm). Watching for those beautiful handmade cards that come from people you've never seen before? That, I find amazing. People I've never seen before, giving me these gorgous cards. I know how much time, effort, money, and talent goes into making these, and yet, I still get tons of them.
I love all my homes and the inspiration that comes from them. The swaps, the gallery posts, and all the helpful tips. Plus the nsbr stuff, little things that can make one laugh and cry just by the click of a button. My scrapbooking has come a long way. I've done things to my layouts I've never dreamed up a few years ago.
I just wanted to post something like this because some people just have no clue. It's been a year since I joined my friends at Cocoa, who have been so wonderful. I've been posting on the ckmb just over a year. During this past year, I have discovered the other groups, too. I'll never turn back and look forward to what you guys will "give" me during the next year to come!

Blog Challenge suggestions
So my first challenge was a flop. No big deal. But, what I'd like to hear is your input, ideas, suggestions. Maybe I should gather prizes ahead of time and post pics? What kind of challenges would you all like to see. I can't do them all the time, but would like to do one now and again, for the fun of it.
I'd love for comments and feedback.

The countdown is on!!!!
I've been sick and icky all week. Bad timing to be sick. It's cookie week for Girl Scouts and the deadline to submitt DT calls for EBB is tonight at midnight. I do have all but one project submitted. This final one is about half done. Fortunately I'm feeling better and hope to get it done today. I HAVE to get it done today. Please pray for me and give me some encouragement. I've never wanted anything so bad as this, before, in this hobby. I think it'll be a great experience to be on such an active DT. EBB's a lot of fun and they're like another family to me.
I'll post all the projects when they're all completed. One of them's already posted...the wedding clipboard. There are several other projects along with that. Oh, and the "about me" layout, you see here, is part of the entries, too! I'm so proud of my pieces that I've put together for this project. I'd be thrilled even to get in as just a Guest DT member!
I'll keep you all posted. Announcements will be made on the 31st.
Have a great weekend! Happy Scrapping!

Oh yeah, speaking of the Scraplift Game
I came up with this, from this...
http://ebbscrapbooking.com/Forums/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=si&img=2092
(the link thing doesn't seem to be cooperating, so you'll have to copy and past the link into your browser, to see the original layout. Sorry.)
This was fun. I already had the perfect photos to use. I couldn't pick just one. So, I incorporated them all. It was tough leaving that empty aka "white" space, though. I like stuff on my pages. But I really am happy with the outcome of this one.
